What more can I say about this location other than some magical adventure is in store. Kids love to explore around the waterfall and if your crew is up for dipping their toes that is an added plus. The large trees here are beautiful with the fall color and it is located conveniently near Hover street in Longmont for those busy families.

This historic staple of Longmont has a long history of Longmont's origin. They offer tours throughout the year at the visitors center. If you are looking for that perfect rustic charm with good ol' country vibes this just might be the location for you. I love the cliffs, the open fields with mountain views, the quaint little windmill, little fishing pond, barn, fences, and wild sunflowers. If you are a biker the bike paths make for a nice countryside adventure.
Around the visitor center is more of the garden vibe for more formal portraits like prom photos, graduation photos, and dressed-up families. So I like the variety that this location offers.

We found this treasure shortly after moving here. During the summer it is a hot spot for tubing and other festivities such as the Blue Grass Festival in Lyons. We even did our daughter's fun birthday bash here recently. Come mid-September, this location is perfect to capture the low water and dip your toes for engagements, maternity, families etc. The red rock cliffs are simply majestic.
And come wintertime, there is ice skating here! They shine lights up onto the cliffs when it gets dark to add to the setting.

This rose garden located at Roosevelt Park in Longmont is a little slice of heaven. The evening light with the roses is so elegant and peaceful. Perfect for those small family sessions, children frolicking in their sweet white dresses, senior pictures, maternity and more. Roses are best in mid-June to early July.

This magical farm not only hosts all kinds of activities but really makes it a full experience with pick-your-own sunflowers involving a wagon ride back to the sunflower field where you can choose from 150 varieties of sunflowers AND pumpkin picking! We found a new family tradition.
