14 years ago we started the brand Effervescent Media Works. "Effervescent" referring to vivacious energy, bubby, fun. And that is me! However, we did name our business when we were 20 years old and didn't put much thought into how much of a mouthful it was that most people have trouble pronouncing or defining... and I still love it. I still photograph weddings, brands and commercial photography and video under this brand. BUT, we have split our brand! I spend most of my time doing family and portrait work!

LONGMONT SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

One of the huge changes we have made with Rebecca Mabey Photography is being able to offer a high end custom boutique experience to our clients. For more seniors, it starts with an in person consultation where we view products, look through the client closet, and most importantly discuss and plan a fully custom session specific to each individuals personality, style and preferences. We begin with the end in mind to create beautiful wall art, albums, high school senior announcements and more.

One thing that I LOVE, is that now I am able to share a virtual preview to my clients of what their pictures will look like in their home!

Whether through my sample photos, or images they have sent me from their cell phone, I am able to give exact size reference options so they can make the best decision for their investment.

And then there are senior announcements! When those details about graduation come out, we are ready to help our seniors and their parents create something fun that they will love and excited to share. We go over paper types, styles etc and seniors will have their images designed into several design options to choose from customize.

BOULDER MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

I love working with each mama to be and those beautiful couples in these stunning Rocky Mountains to create something truly breathtaking.

Together we will create a look that you love with personal styling assistance and direction.

After each of my sessions, you will be invited to my home studio located in Longmont. If distance makes that a challenge, we will arrange to meet virtually. You will be presented with your images in a beautiful way, and then together we will narrow down favorites from the gallery.

I find great joy is helping my clients to preserve their photography in beautiful archival quality wall art that will bring something beautiful into their home.

LONGMONT NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

Newborns hold a special place in my heart. Those sweet moments with just mom and dad, baby sleeping on the chest and of course those simple and elegant setups. Each newborn session is unique in style and setup. Some mama's want all the floral, pearls and lace. Some prefer sweet and simple minimalism and in home styled session. Whatever it is, we will meet and plan a customized session.

Over the past 14 years, I have collected a beautiful assortment of newborn attire, props and backdrops for in studio work. For in home lifestyle sessions, I can bring some of that to you. Check out this in home session and some of the setups we did here.

LONGMONT FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

I love to work with families! We run, we jump, we bunny hop, we make silly noises. We play. I enjoy creating a fun environment to get everyone laughing and capture that joy.

Offering a boutique service allows me to slow down. It allows me to take my time with each family to help those little ones warm up and have fun! Shy toddlers cannot always warm up in a mini session that is 15 minutes long. Together we go on an adventure that they can get into. Exploring the garden and searching for bugs, taking a walk on a "Safari" through the tall grass searching for animals, pretending we are mermaids by the river and the waterfall misting behind. We play! And when we have captured what we need, we wrap up. No time crunches. I work fast and swift photographing those silly gooses on the loose! But I also work with them and their little worlds of imagination.
