I started Effervescent Media Works in 2009. And it is wonderful to look back through the many many memories I have captured. So many happy moments of bliss and loved shared as family hugs the bride in groom accepting another into their family. I will have to break these posts up into multiple blog posts because there are simple too many favorites to share! I have spent a great many hours on the Salt Lake Temple grounds so this post it devoted to that area.
My first temple wedding was not until 2010, so this video is a compilation of some of those favorite moments
These are not particularly from oldest to newest but generally so. With many years covered, many seasons etc. This has brought back a lot of wonderful memories!

They exchanged rings outside the temple so those who were not a part of the ceremony could be a part of that.
It's funny, at first glance you might think this photo (below) has a photo shopped person in it, but in the Mormon cultural tradition, at weddings and events a print out or cardboard cutout is often brought so that any person missing (as they might be away on a mission) are brought so they can be a part of the day in a way.
My edit style here feels a little night and day doesn't it? When I approach a wedding, a tailor to it specific to the look of the day, the preferences of the bride and simply as an artist what will look the best. I do love a fine art delicate look. Which is what I lean toward most these days, but some couples have the vibrant, loud and colorful look, while others are more reserved and delicate.
Which look do you like more? Let me know in the comments. Moody, dark editing is what is now coming in... which works great for those romantic engagements or jaw dropping bridals... but for a girl with giggles in a field... not so much! In all the years I have done this, it is like cooking with fine spices... knowing how much to throw in with the dish.
Who do you think has the best kung fu moves?
